9” x 48” Fiberglass Water Filter or Water Softener Tank
Structural tanks used to be called “Structural Fibers" and they were made in Chardon, Ohio. The name was simply shortened to “Structural". Structural composite fiberglass wound resin tanks are sealed with epoxy resin over a polyethylene shell which creates a resin or media tank with amazing performance and durability. Structural Tanks have been the industry standard for over 40 years.
When we say “resin” or “media” tank, we mean that it can be used as a water softener tank with ion-exchange softening resin, or a backwashing filter tank that may use various media, such as carbon, catalytic carbon, calcite, Greensand Plus, Katalox Lite and any number of other medias.
This tank is compatible with any media and any valve with a 2-1/2” threaded opening. Every water softener or backwashing filter needs a resin or media tank. This tank can be utilized for any water softener or filter system which has a 2-1/2” top opening. These tanks replace just about any water softener or backwashing filter that uses a 2-1/2” top opening, including Fleck Valve, Clack Valves, Autotrol Valves, Erie Valves, Hankscraft/Runxin Valves, and Chandler Systems Valves (CSI Valves).
Includes FREE 1.05 Tank Distributor – It’s recommended that you replace it when replacing the tank ($24.95 Value)
